"Step back on the breath without any reaction when your mind is busy"
'When the mind is busy, gently return to the breath without reacting'
Mindfulness Programs for Individuals, Businesses & Organizations
I teach mindfulness because I have personally experienced how the human mind can suffer—and how deeply it can heal. For many people, stress, anxiety, overthinking, and emotional pain become a daily reality. From the outside, life may look normal, but inside there is constant noise, restlessness, and exhaustion. I understand this deeply, because I have walked through those inner struggles myself and healed myself.
Mindfulness is not just a practice I teach—it is a path that transformed my life. It helped me rebuild my inner strength, reconnect with peace, and discover clarity beyond the busy mind. That is why I dedicate my life to teaching mindfulness: to help others reduce suffering, awaken their potential, and live with purpose, balance, and inner freedom.
Sanjeev Kumar was born and raised in India. From childhood, he carried a deep curiosity about truth and existence. Questions like these lived within him:
Who are we really?
What is the true purpose of life?
Why are we here?
How can we align with the deeper intelligence of the Universe?
Even though he spent years seeking answers, reading, reflecting, and exploring spiritual wisdom, something still felt incomplete. The truth he was searching for had not fully manifested—yet.
Many years ago, Sanjeev moved to Canada, and his life journey entered a new phase. Soon after arriving, he met an elderly Caucasian woman who became a profound turning point in his awakening. From that moment onward, his inner understanding began to unfold gradually—like a door opening into something vast, limitless, and boundless.
Together, they spent years living close to nature—near mountains, oceans, rivers, and open skies—immersed in deep silence and meditative awareness. In that space, Sanjeev realized something life-changing:
It can deprogram old conditioning, dissolve mental patterns, and return us to our original state—calm, present, and alive. Through sunlight, fresh air, water, stillness, and simplicity, he discovered that true transformation does not come from forcing the mind—but from creating space within it.
Like many people on a deep inner path, Sanjeev also faced intense challenges. At one point in his life, he experienced a nervous breakdown and depression. It was one of the most difficult phases of his journey.
But over time, he realized that life’s hardest moments often become the greatest teachers.
He came to understand that everything happens for a reason—and that light often emerges from darkness. The more we experience life fully—its highs and lows, its pain and joy, its duality and totality—the more we evolve. This evolution, he believes, is one of the deepest meanings of life.
Over the last three decades, Sanjeev Kumar has traveled extensively and worked with people around the world. Along his journey, he met inspiring individuals, learned life-enhancing lessons, and experienced many awakening moments.
Out of a deep desire to help people heal—just as he was once helped—Sanjeev began sharing his insights and teachings. He strongly believes:
The more honest and truthful you are with yourself, the more space you create within.
And from that inner space, intuition awakens—guiding you from the inside.
This inner guidance helps people reconnect with a higher power, align with existence, and live with deeper clarity and peace.
Many people have found inspiration, purpose, and joy through Sanjeev’s teachings. His extensive work and research are documented in his best-selling book:
“Practicing The Power of Present Moment.”
Sanjeev’s next research project began when he realized a profound truth:
If you want to connect deeply with existence, you must empty the mind.
Because when the mind becomes quiet & still, something extraordinary happens a beautiful thought, a powerful insight, and a higher awareness can arise from the limitless, boundless and unknown space.
Sanjeev believes that Nothingness is the most creative and intelligent space within us. When we create inner emptiness, we become open to clarity, inspiration, and transformation beyond the limited thinking mind.
This research will be shared in his upcoming book:
“The Power of Nothingness.”
The Canadian Mindfulness Research Center was founded in 2011 by Sanjeev Kumar and is located in Calgary, Alberta (Canada).
At our center, we support individuals, professionals & businesses who are struggling with challenges such as:
Our mission is to help people create real change through mindfulness-based education and practical meditation training.
We teach people how to slow down, become aware, and observe their thoughts and emotions as they arise—without reacting.
Most people suffer today because their minds are overloaded with unnecessary thoughts. Overthinking drains energy and blocks creativity, peace, and powerful decision-making.
We also guide people to release stuck emotions they have been holding for years through practical mindfulness tools and dynamic meditation techniques.
