Bliss of Mindfulness

Mindfulness teaches us how we have to slow down, pay attention, and watch our thought emotion which is arising within us instead of reaction. Therefore, whatsoever emotion arising within us, we have to witness of them without any reaction.

We are carrying the energy of anger, frustration, jealousy etc. within us and if someone tries to bring their negative emotion upon us, we react to them instead of responding therefore we attract pain. Witnessing means deep observation with no judgment and labeling without any reaction. Just for example, if someone is creating anger, stress upon us, it is better to create a gap or space and then we can reply to them may be after few seconds, hours, or few days depending upon kinds of situation but never react to them. We need to bring our awareness to the breath in order to go back into our own space and then reply to them. As soon as we bring our attention and energy to breath we are getting pulled towards it so I am not giving attention and energy to their thoughts. Moreover, I am a watcher and observer and witnessing of every activity. It means I am not the thought of anger, stress etc. and gradually it disappears because I move into my own space and we can transcend, stress, anger etc. with mindfulness practice.

Another meaning of mindfulness is to live in the present moment awareness

Mindfulness enhances Performance and Productivity

What happens when a doctor does an operation? He is already present there but as soon as he moves into the past or future, he is not able to focus on the operation because past memory or thinking about the future is interfering into this moment which can lead to an unsuccessful operation.

Mindfulness reduces stress and enhances mental well-being. It dissolves negative emotion such as stress, jealousy, hate, anger etc. in order to develop a better relationship with mutual respect, high self- esteem, and love between coworkers and management which leads to higher productivity in the organization.

Mindfulness practice helps us to create a fragrance of self-love and Compassion. Compassion is the core of mindfulness practice. It is the act of forgiving our self and others as well with kindness. If a person is in stress, anger, fear etc. and we can request them to practice compassion and you notice that fragrance of anger, stress is not any more.

It improves memory, attention, and reduces mind wandering and distraction in order to focus and stay on work. While working, if we feel stress then we need to bring the sensation of awareness of breath at the top of nostril for few seconds which can help us to prioritize our work and manage our time effectively. It brings deeper state of relaxation and calms our mind, which creates productive ideas that help in creativity and innovation.

My example

I remember when I was in school, teachers used to teach us in a class but my performance was not good at all, because I was not focused and mindful. I used to think about playing football or watching fun movies by living in the past during study hours, end up in bad performance. On the other hand, some of my friends stood better position than me because they were present in the moment while studying.

Whatever you do, just be there with awareness, you can learn mindfulness very easily without any knowledge by just observation with every activity of daily living.

Mindfulness is method of investigation, self-discovery, and deep understanding. Mindfulness applies to all aspects of life whatsoever is going on whether we are working in an office or enjoying with meal. No worry or dreams, no regret–just experiencing the present moment awareness.

Mindful Communication

Listen more and speak less. Active listening is very important and have you ever noticed that 99 of talks are useless and only 1 percent of them is useful? I design a course that help you to improve mindful communication in order to raise productivity. When you listen to others, the best things are to empty your mind completely and become a thoughtless awareness and then reply to them. This is mindful practice as well and gradually you are aware that most of the words which are useless get disappear and then you can filter out useful words in the form of listening.

People try to interfere before other finish during talk because they live with mind and mind make judgement and live with many useless thoughts. Distraction happens because we are thinking too much to reply them because we are not relaxed and mindful. Same things happen when you talk to others, you can be aware in each and every word because you share from thoughtless space within and you notice that words just flow without obstacle because you share from wordlessness space within and that conveys the right message and it does make sense. Awareness of each words means whatever word we use that has meaning and carry important information.

There is another way to increase the productivity by creating a space or gap between two words or thoughts. Try to understand this gap because this gap is a meditation gap from where you can understand the words. This gap helps you to understand the secret and mystery of life. This gap creates a power of nothingness where you are getting in tuned with whole existence and everything start happening without effort. Increase this gap and become more mindful and gradually you realise that you become slow down and watch your thoughts.
